Trained in art history, Banu Yılmaz has 26 years of experience in tourism. A professional guide in Portuguese and Spanish since 2009, she founded Sabor Travel in 2019. Today she designs journeys through Turkey with local knowledge, care and a personal perspective.
Deniz Karaevli studied advertising, Latin American studies and tourism. She lived for many years across South America and guides in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Passionate about archaeology and design, she makes jewelry, practices photography and enjoys diving and surfing.
Founded by two women, Turquialternativa combines local knowledge and a personal perspective to create journeys at each traveler’s pace.
